Associate Director-Commerce Media, Profitero
Location: Chicago Preferred (or New York). The role is HYBRID office/WFH (2-3 days in CHI or NYC office)

Role Overview
In this newly created cross-athlete role, the Associate Director of Commerce Media will be responsible for two objectives:
- Leading Shelf Intelligent Media: a new solution for automating & integrating Profitero’s digital shelf analytics with industry-leading retail media bid management platforms.
- Supporting retail media advisory and enablement: providing solutions to winning in retail media, informing go-forward strategies for US/global clients, and helping Groupe agencies win additional business
You will work directly with retailers, retail media partners, brands, and Profitero business leads to grow clients’ brands globally.
The ideal candidate has a track record of experience in retail media campaign strategy & management and is eager to build & grow as a team. You are comfortable digging into platforms to diagnose problems when needed, offer solutions, and can educate others along the way. You have a strong ability to clearly articulate complex, technical topics into clear & concise language.
Who You Are
- You have 5-7 years of retail media strategy & hands to keys experience with mid-market or enterprise clients
- You’re known as a power user in one or more bid management platforms which may include Amazon Ads, Walmart Ad Center, KPM Prism/PromoteIQ, Pacvue, Skai, etc.
- You can quickly develop a comprehensive understanding of and perspective on new concepts and products
- You’re ambitious, intrinsically motivated, a strong collaborator, detail oriented, and have strong project management
- You have working knowledge of media agencies & advertising/marketing technology and are comfortable advising clients
- You’ve had exposure to data and product teams, either in product marketing or as a strategic partner in roadmap development
- You have a high “do to say ratio” and value “achievement over activity”
What You’ll Do
- Lead day to day implementation & vision of Shelf Intelligent Media, working with internal stakeholders & partners, and driving adoption/usage of the product
- Support implementation of existing/new features with strategic clients. Gather feedback & incorporate into near- & long-term roadmaps
- Work with the VP Commerce Media & product marketing team on competitive landscape evaluation and thought leadership POVs
- Create retail media materials for a variety of client advisory projects from assessing current account performance, to designing workshops, to educating cross-functional teams on holistic search & omnichannel strategy
- Cultivate deep expertise about our industry, customers, offerings, and the competitive landscape
