Overview


The Marketing Insights Analyst (MI Analyst) is responsible for the provision of Marketing Insights to support both Publicis Groupe pitch opportunities and existing Profitero Marketing activity execution.  The focus for this role will be on the former, providing a mixture of templated and tailored insights from the Profitero app, Boost and Search Optimizer output as well as from desk research on eCommerce developments as necessary. 


This person will work with the VP Marketing Insights to establish clear lines of communication with agency teams and partners in the Publicis Groupe.  The MI Analyst will also own the execution of a support strategy for Publicis agencies, ensuring that their output is evolving to match the requirements of the agencies but also providing clear guardrails to define what support is available.

The MI Analyst will be analytical, have exceptional attention to detail, strong time management and prioritisation skills and be able to pull clear actionable insights from a variety of data sources.

Responsibilities


  • Synthesizing and interpreting data and drawing clear conclusions to drive suggested actions
  • Identify new opportunities and recommendations for improving the client’s retailer performance
  • Manage workload independently and effectively prioritizes Publicis client commitments alongside internal commitments
  • Maintain a clear communication pathway with the key stakeholders
  • Working with Marketing teams as required to provide market insight to drive PR collateral
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and meaningful changes to be able to respond to specific ecommerce questions.
  • Create output predominantly within PowerPoint but also researching new methodologies to provide clear insightful actions in the most engaging format.



Qualifications & skills


  • A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher-level qualifications involving data analysis
  • 2+ years’ experience working in an analytics-intensive data, market research, consulting or retail role
  • Experience of analysing large data sets from a commercial background to provide simple, clear insights and actions
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills with a proven track record of delivering projects simultaneously and on time in a fast paced – deadline driven environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with experience of communicating with individuals at all levels of the organisation
  •  Excel and PowerPoint at an advanced level, with intermediate experience of executing Python scripts and creating basic SQL queries.
  • Intermediate knowledge and experience / proficiency with data visualisation tools (Power BI / Tableau)
  • An understanding of Ecommerce, the FMCG industry and trends
  • Maintains a positive attitude and remains flexible in times of change.
  • Fluency in English


Desirable skills


  • Knowledge of other European languages
  • Experience within an eCommerce role
  • Previous experience of eCommerce analytics platforms like Profitero, Stackline, Edge, eFundamentals, eStoreMedia or CommerceIQ
