Overview


The ideal candidate will assist our commercial teams in EMEA and the US in achieving quarterly revenue and booking targets. The role’s primary focus is to lead discovery sessions in preparation for presenting innovative product demonstrations to prospects and clients. Delivering compelling Proofs of Concept and highlighting the use and value of our platform to prospective clients. 


Responsibilities


You are analytical, creative, and able to use adaptive approaches to facilitate the sales process. In this role you will be expected to:


  • Become a master user of Profitero’s platform
  • Perform analyses across a spectrum of brands to deliver insights and demonstrate the capabilities and features of the platform
  • Participate in sales calls and meetings with Sales Executives and prospective clients using insights and a highly consultative approach to the sales process
  • Assist with high-level requirements gathering and RFI/RFP process 
  • Work with Marketing and Product teams to continually update the RFP library and presentation library with best-in-class materials
  • Work in partnership with Account Management to support upsell opportunities to existing accounts
  • Provide continual feedback to Product teams on client requirements to support product direction
  • Deliver platform training to the commercial team as new platform developments are released
  • Work with the Solutions Consultant team to continuously improve and refine the pre-sales process -  improve sales scripts, the discovery process and expertise/training sharing


Qualifications and Skills


  • Undergraduate degree, ideally with a technology, business, or marketing concentration
  • 3+ years of business experience ideally in a customer-facing capacity
  • 4-5 years experience in a solutions or technical sales role
  • Prior experience working with SaaS applications, data services, or analytics software is a plus
  • Good grasp of eCommerce industry and interest in learning more about our product offering
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with active listening skills
  • Deadline driven and able to balance multiple clients’ needs at once
  • Adaptable, creative and able to thrive in an ever-changing environment
  • A desire to learn
  • Detail-oriented, precise and concise


In addition, the following will be an advantage


  • Previous experience selling tech solutions to brands & manufacturers in Ecommerce or Marketing
  • Understanding of, and contacts within the FMCG or CPG sector
